Venture Hack's Top 10 Term Sheet Hacks

Venture Hacks has a great post and advice on term sheets for entrepreneurs. Naval Ravikant's slides are below.

My points to emphasize from his slides would be that getting leverage is key to your valuation. If you don't have more than two horse in the race, you might be at the mercy of the one venture capitalist interested in your deal.

Another great point is that "valuation is temporary and control is forever." You might have to give on this mantra in the latter rounds.

Anyway, check out their detailed "Venture Hacks: The Cheat Sheet" post, which is a solid overview for any startup entrepreneur.
