HopeMob (www.hopemob.org) is a new nonprofit that brings generous strangers together to take action and help those in need. It's a new social media platform helping mobs of people to bring hope to others!
Christine and I are assisting in their outreach in the Bay Area, and Christine is hosting them at Google on April 19th at 12:00pm-1:00pm:

Come and learn more about HopeMob! Shaun King, co-founder & CEO, will be presenting what HopeMob is, how you can help their cause, and submit stories to their platform. Shaun King, was the founder of TwitChange, which won the Mashable Award for Most Creative Social Good Campaign. His social media projects have raised over $5,000,000 for charity and over 100 million web hits.
Meet the other founders, Dave Gibbons and Sam Oh. David Gibbons is an activist for cultural innovation and has traveled the world as a leadership coach and social entrepreneur. He's served on the board of several award-winning nonprofits - including World Vision. Sam Oh was VP of IT for Fresh and Easy Neighborhood Market, a subsidiary of Tesco, the third largest retailer in the world.
Prelaunch they already have over 350,000 Twitter followers, over 90,000 Facebook followers and support from numerous celebrities, such as Eva Longoria.
