When I left GoingOn last October, I believe we had about 30 direct or indirect competitors. I assumed the numbers would slowly lessen, but it seems there is an upward spike before the storm. Here are two more: Soceeo and Webjam.
VentureBeat's MG Siegler has a post on Soceeo here. There's also another player my friend, Bernie, pointed me to called Webjam. It's a startup out of the UK and is currently in beta. CNET's Webware has a post on them, "Webjam offers Apple-like simplicity for site building"
Bernie is using Webjam for his new company's website, DFSB Kollective, which is a boutique creative agency for people in the music industry. He previously was creative director for MTV Korea.
