MICROSOFT SEARCH LAUNCHES

The music is ringing in my head again. The Death Star music from Star Wars. Microsoft launched its search service today with a special letter from Bill Gates that was posted recently.

I tried it a few times. It seems pretty good with a noticeable flaw of too many repeats in the search results. Some interesting and attractive features are the "Encarta" tab, which leverages Microsoft's successful encyclopedia brand, and a link for people to download their desktop search application.
